Philip Roth is not a creditable source

Just out of the closet: famous writer Philip Roth contacted ultra-source-for-college-papers Wikipedia to correct inaccuracies in an entry of his novel his novel The Human Stain. Shockingly, Wikipedia said "no." Their reasons?

“I understand your point that the author is the greatest authority on their own work,” the Wikipedia Administrator wrote back to Roth—“but we require secondary sources.”

Anyone out there who wants to vouch for Roth?
